Data collected in Year 3 of the i3 study show evidence of positive changes in parent-teacher and parent-school relationships, as well as positive changes in parent perceptions about their roles in their school communities. Parent Specialists have observed, and parents self-reported, that parents are confident about
their roles as school committee members and leaders at their child’s school, are building relationships with school staff, and are working with others to improve parent engagement. Teacher survey data also confirms that a large percentage of parents at their school are actively engaged and have a positive impact on school improvement.
